A spokesman of the Philippine Olympic Committee now in
Sydney told emanila.com that majority of the Philippine athletes arrived in Sydney last
Sunday, September 10, and are now staying at the Olympic Village.
Except for the four taekwondo team members, expected to arrive tomorrow, the contingent
is now complete. The boxing olympians as reported in exclusive feature stories in
emanila.com are "the early birds" who
flew in to Sydney as early as last May.
