WHY
WE CALL THIS SITE emanila*PLAZA(tm)
Well, we thought that if we were to create a Philippine Community
online --- why not call one of the sites 'Plaza' (or 'plazuela').
Remember that 'plaza' in the
Philippines where annual and special events like carnivals, fiestas, public rallies
including debates are being held? Even free movies, sometimes. That 'plaza' where the
young and the adults converge - to exchange notes on the day's events, to share a joke or
two, or just to exchange pleasantries. That 'plaza' where discussions flow freely.
That exactly is what we propose to
re-create here at Emanila Plaza - with your participation.
It is for this reason why we have all sorts
of posting boards for everyone to use (guestbooks, announcements board, discussions and
message board, Pinoy jokes, a URL linking page, and a locator board for those looking for
their long-lost friends).
