I particularly commend your initiative to provide a global medium that will provide information on the Philippines specially as we celebrate the centennial of the declaration of Philippine independence. By doing so you are addressing a very urgent need to inform the public, specially here in Australia of the people, places and events that charted our road to nationhood and what we have achieved as a country and people. While the battles of our past were geared towards the attainment of national aspirations such as freedom, justice and independence, today, we face battles to stay capable and competitive in the new millennium.

I am certain that with a website dedicated to showcase the possibilities that the Philippines has to offer both in trade, investments and tourism, you will contribute effectively to the efforts of all Philippine representatives in this country in promoting a close and mutually beneficial partnership between the Philippines and Australia.
